Momentum Internship Program

The Momentum Summer Internship Program is a paid workforce development initiative that connects young adults ages 16–24 with meaningful internship opportunities at nonprofit partner organizations serving the SN52 community. Through Momentum, participants gain hands-on work experience, develop professional skills, and explore career pathways while contributing to organizations making a difference in their communities.

Interns work on-site with host organizations three days per week, where they build practical skills, strengthen their resumes, and learn directly from experienced professionals. In addition to their internship placement, participants attend weekly leadership development and professional training sessions facilitated by CA4Y coaches. These sessions focus on workplace readiness, communication, goal setting, financial literacy, and career exploration.

Momentum is designed to prepare young people for long-term success by combining real-world work experience with mentorship, coaching, and ongoing support. At the same time, the program helps local organizations expand their impact while investing in the next generation of community leaders.
