Credible Messengers Program
Credible messenger mentors are individuals who share lived experience with the youth and young adults they are mentoring, traditionally those impacted by the justice system. Credible messengers are trained practitioners who assist clients to move out of crisis and into stability. Credible messengers deliver transformative mentoring services to support clients to define and achieve success for themselves.
As the lead agency, CA4Y processes referrals, matches eligible clients to a full-time CM, and then pairs the client with one of the 13 CBO partners to expand the client’s support system and further explore the client’s interests.
Youth and young adults between the ages of 10 - 35 years old who are currently system-involved or vulnerable to becoming system-involved within the designated zip codes.
