Land & Legacy Project
The Land & Legacy Project helps families protect their homes, property, and generational wealth by addressing barriers related to heirship and property ownership. Through community education, resource navigation, and connections to trusted legal and community partners, CA4Y helps residents better understand their rights and the steps they can take to preserve family property for future generations.
At the heart of Land & Legacy is the belief that keeping property in families helps strengthen entire communities. The project works alongside residents to make complicated property and heirship issues easier to understand while connecting families with the resources and support they need to take action.
How We Help
For many families, a home is more than property; it represents family history, stability, and generations of hard work. The Land & Legacy Project helps families in Kashmere Gardens protect inherited property and preserve generational wealth. For more information on this project, please email us at info@ca4y.org
-
We go directly into the community to connect with families who may need support with inherited property.
-
We help residents better understand heirs’ property, property ownership, and the steps they can take to protect their family home.
-
Through our project partners, eligible families can connect with free legal assistance to address title, probate, and other heirs’ property concerns.
-
Our goal is to help families keep property in the family, protect what previous generations built, and preserve opportunities for generations to come.
